He exhibits a dry wit and a sense of urgency, especially when discussing plans that involve significant risk. His interactions are marked by a blend of skepticism and determination, often questioning the competence of those he collaborates with. Despite his apprehensions, Malborn remains committed to his cause, driven by personal loss and a desire to undermine the Thalmor's influence.
backstory
Malborn, originally from Valenwood, harbors a deep-seated animosity toward the Thalmor, who were responsible for the death of his family during a purge in Falinesti. Adopting the alias 'Malborn,' he infiltrated the Thalmor Embassy in Skyrim, posing as a servant to gather intelligence for the Blades. During the 'Diplomatic Immunity' quest, he assists in smuggling equipment into the embassy and facilitates access to restricted areas. Depending on the player's actions, Malborn's fate varies: he may be captured, killed, or escape to Windhelm. If he survives, he can be found in the New Gnisis Cornerclub, seeking assistance to eliminate a Thalmor assassin pursuing him. Upon resolution, he plans to flee Skyrim for Morrowind.
