appearance
A Nord man with a weathered and somber appearance, Thoring wears a set of merchant's clothes and boots, befitting his position as the innkeeper of the Windpeak Inn. An iron dagger rests at his side, more a tool than a weapon. His posture is upright, and his movements are deliberate, embodying the discipline and resilience forged through years of dedicated service.
personality
Thoring is a reserved and melancholic individual, deeply affected by the death of his wife. He is dedicated to his work at the inn but often appears distracted and preoccupied. His interactions are marked by a sense of detachment, and he tends to avoid engaging in conversations beyond his professional duties. Thoring's daughter, Karita, often expresses concern for his well-being, encouraging him to find happiness and reconnect with the community.
backstory
Thoring is the owner and operator of the Windpeak Inn in Dawnstar. He is a widower; his wife passed away two years prior. His daughter, Karita, serves as the inn's bard, providing musical entertainment to the patrons. Thoring rents out rooms for 10 gold and sells food and ingredients. He is known to be a source of local rumors and bounties offered by the Jarl. Despite his daughter's efforts to encourage him to be more sociable, Thoring remains withdrawn, still grieving the loss of his wife.
