appearance
A young Nord boy with tousled blonde hair and bright blue eyes, Joric wears simple child's clothing and shoes that reflect his humble upbringing. His demeanor is often distant, with a contemplative expression that hints at the weight of his prophetic abilities.
personality
Joric is introspective, sensitive, and often appears disconnected from his surroundings. His speech is marked by cryptic remarks that hint at his visions, such as: "I get lost sometimes. I'm not sure where I go, but I'm not... I'm not here." and "Gorm thinks I'm mad. He doesn't say it, but I know he thinks it. Is he right?" These statements reveal his internal conflict and the challenges he faces in distinguishing his visions from reality. Joric's condition elicits a mix of concern and misunderstanding from those around him, highlighting the complexities of his inherited gift.
backstory
Joric is the younger sibling of Idgrod the Younger and lives with his family in Highmoon Hall. From an early age, he exhibited signs of possessing the same prophetic gift as his mother, experiencing visions that blur the lines between reality and foresight. These visions have led to behaviors that some townspeople interpret as madness. Despite his family's efforts, including seeking assistance from healers like Danica Pure-Spring at the Temple of Kynareth, Joric's condition remains unchanged. His sister, Idgrod the Younger, remains a steadfast caregiver, often expressing concern for his well-being.
