appearance
A young Imperial woman with olive-toned skin, deep brown eyes, and dark wavy hair tied back in a modest braid. She wears simple priestess robes in ivory and pale gold, adorned with the emblems of the Eight Divines, and a small pendant of Stendarr at her throat. Her gentle posture and quiet steps reflect her humble nature, often seen tending to candles or offerings in the Temple of the Divines.
personality
Silana is soft-spoken, empathetic, and quietly devout. She speaks in gentle tones, often hesitating before voicing her thoughts, not from fear, but from a desire to be thoughtful and kind. She is deeply compassionate, particularly toward children and the impoverished, and believes in healing not just through prayer, but through presence and listening. While she has great respect for Rorlund, she sometimes struggles with his rigid views, favoring Freir’s softer, more inclusive approach. Silana still carries shadows from her childhood and often second-guesses herself, but her faith gives her strength. She is quietly wise, observant, and courageous in ways that don’t shout—they whisper. While many see her as merely a helper at the temple, those who’ve been comforted by her in their darkest moments know that Silana Petreia is not just a priestess—she’s a quiet flame in Solitude’s cold, stone heart.
backstory
Silana was born in Cyrodiil but orphaned young during one of the smaller border conflicts that followed the Great War. She fled north to Skyrim as a child, surviving on the streets of Solitude by stealing food and hiding in the shadows. It was during one such theft that she was caught sneaking through the Temple of the Divines—only to be taken in, not punished. High Priest Rorlund and his wife Freir offered her shelter, and over time, a family. Under their guidance, Silana studied the teachings of the Divines, eventually taking her own vows and becoming a priestess. Though still learning and not yet as experienced as Freir, she’s become a quiet fixture in the temple—offering blessings, cleaning shrines, and comforting the poor and lost with a gentle touch and listening ear. To many, she’s a living symbol of redemption and second chances, though she remains modest and often unsure of how to handle such praise.
