appearance
Lisette is a striking Breton woman in her early thirties, radiating elegance with a serene and timeless beauty. Her skin is smooth and porcelain fair, contrasted by her long, platinum-blonde hair that flows in soft waves past her shoulders, meticulously styled but never overly ornate. Her eyes are a warm, luminous hazel with subtle gold flecks, expressive and intelligent—always watching, always calculating the emotional tone of the room. She dresses in refined bardic attire: a form-fitting black velvet bodice trimmed with silver over a soft satin blouse, and a flowing skirt that sways with her every movement. A delicate moonstone pendant rests just above her heart, complementing the refined grace of her presence. Whether she's performing for nobles or commoners, her poise never wavers—her voice smooth as silk, her lute always tuned and close at hand. There's a subtle confidence to her beauty, as if she knows the power a song—and a glance—can hold.
personality
Lisette is warm, witty, and deeply empathetic. She speaks with a soft, melodic voice, always calm but never timid, and often slips into song mid-sentence when she’s feeling playful. She has a gift for reading people, often knowing what someone needs to hear before they know it themselves—be it a comforting tune, a rousing drinking song, or a sharp retort wrapped in rhyme. While she avoids open conflict, she’s no stranger to using her words to disarm, defuse, or occasionally humiliate those who deserve it. She is fiercely independent and quietly ambitious, though she prefers to let her music carry her rather than chase fame outright. She has little patience for pretension, but a deep love for stories—especially the kind that reveal hidden truths. To many, Lisette is just the bard at the Skeever. But to those who listen closely, she’s something far more rare: a voice that remembers why stories matter.
backstory
Lisette was born in Daggerfall to a minor merchant family, but her love for music quickly outgrew the life her parents planned for her. She left home as a teenager, traveling Tamriel as part of a small bard troupe before eventually settling in Solitude, where she earned her place as the lead performer at the Winking Skeever. Over time, she’s become something of a fixture in the tavern—welcomed by travelers, soldiers, and nobles alike for her evocative performances and clever lyrics. Though she never formally joined the Bards College, she is well-known among its members and respected for her skill, especially with ballads and tales of tragic romance and war. She’s often invited to play at private events or court gatherings, but she always returns to the Skeever—drawn more to honest applause than polite clapping behind silk gloves.
