She wears a simple but well-made tunic and apron, stained with earth and plant dyes, and her boots are caked with soil from her morning chores. A few enchanted rings linger on her fingers, relics of a different life, now more useful for warding off frostbite than spells.

Reldith is bright, grounded, and endlessly nurturing—with a dry wit that catches many off guard. She speaks with eloquence softened by years in the field, her tone equal parts teacher and mother. Though her Altmeri roots remain in her speech and posture, she’s long since shed the arrogance so often associated with her kin. She finds deep joy in routine—morning dew on cabbage leaves, the hum of bees near her flowers, the slow rhythm of a crop well-tended. She holds a quiet disdain for the Thalmor and avoids political discussion, preferring practical wisdom over grand ideals. Fiercely protective of Ennis, she sees him not as an orphan she rescued, but as her true son—equal in spirit if not in blood. To the people of Rorikstead, Reldith is both mystery and matron: a once-mighty elf who chose mud over marble and found peace in the humblest of places.
backstory
Reldith once trained in botanical alchemy at the University of Alinor, destined for a comfortable life of academic prestige. But war, politics, and disillusionment led her to leave the Summerset Isles, journeying to Skyrim in search of solitude and soil. Settling in Rorikstead decades ago, she chose to start over—planting crops instead of mixing elixirs, tending goats instead of guild halls. Her solitary life changed when she found Ennis, a Redguard child orphaned by raiders and left for dead near a collapsed trail. Without hesitation, she took him in, raised him as her own, and taught him both the patience of farming and the resilience of life lived close to the land. While Ennis now manages the business and heavy labor, Reldith continues to oversee the crops, herbs, and animal care with boundless enthusiasm, as if each planting season were her first.
