appearance
A refined Nord woman in her early thirties with fair skin and honey-blonde hair styled in an intricate bun beneath a traveler's hood. Her sharp slate-gray eyes are constantly scanning her surroundings. She wears a fine traveler’s cloak over an elegant but practical dress dyed in muted Cyrodiilic colors, stitched with subtle patterns common in Imperial fashion. A simple gold ring adorns one hand, and her satchel bulges slightly with notes, ledgers, and official-looking parchment.
personality
Margret is intelligent, composed, and methodical, with a diplomat’s tact and a scholar’s curiosity. She speaks clearly and with purpose, careful not to reveal too much while always trying to learn more. Though she keeps a pleasant facade, she’s always on alert—measuring risk, reading people, and mentally cataloging everything she sees. After the attack, if spared, she expresses genuine gratitude but quickly resumes her guarded demeanor, aware that any warmth could compromise her mission. She's not a soldier, but she’s brave in her own way—risking her life not for glory, but to expose corruption and restore order. Margret is, in every way, a quiet force: observant, underestimated, and dangerously close to truths Markarth's powers would rather stay buried.
backstory
While Margret poses as a visiting scholar and merchant from Cyrodiil, the truth is more complicated. She’s actually an Imperial agent, dispatched under quiet orders to investigate Thonar Silver-Blood and his alleged connections to the Forsworn Conspiracy. Posing as a curious traveler interested in local trade and stonecraft, she’s spent her time carefully watching Markarth’s merchants, mining operations, and power brokers, recording observations in a coded journal. Unbeknownst to her, her presence has not gone unnoticed. When Weylin, a Forsworn agent, attempts to assassinate her in the marketplace, it’s a public sign that her cover has been blown—and that she was far closer to uncovering something dangerous than she realized.
