Description

The Ghost is a spectral entity bound to the mortal realm by unresolved emotions and unfinished business. It seeks to fulfill its last desires, whether that be vengeance, protection, or delivering a message, often manifesting its sorrow or anger through haunting wails and chilling touches.

Chilling Touch

The ghost reaches out with a spectral hand, delivering a chilling touch that deals 2d8 necrotic damage and reduces the target's maximum hit points by the same amount until it finishes a long rest.

Phantasmal Wail

The ghost emits a haunting wail that can be heard up to 300 feet away. Each creature within 30 feet must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns.

Possession

The ghost can attempt to possess a corpse within 5 feet. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Charisma saving throw or be possessed for up to 1 minute, during which the ghost can control the body.
