Description

Located beneath Mistveil Keep, Riften Jail serves as the city's detention center, housing various inmates and guarded by Riften's watch. Access to the jail is through a door to the right of Mistveil Keep's main entrance. The jail comprises two levels with multiple cells, some of which are occupied by notable prisoners such as Sibbi Black-Briar, Threki the Innocent, and Molgrom Twice-Killed. Each cell varies in furnishings, reflecting the status of its occupant. For instance, Sibbi's cell is more lavishly appointed, including a double bed, wardrobe, and a selection of books and food items. In contrast, standard cells contain minimal furnishings like a bed and a table.

Appearance

The jail is dimly lit, with stone walls and iron bars on the cells. Sibbi's cell stands out with its lavish furnishings, while others are stark and bare.
