Description

Buried deep within Castle Volkihar, the Cathedral is a haunting monument to lost grandeur and profane purpose. Its vast chamber stretches high into shadow, with fractured stone arches and fallen columns littering the blood-streaked floor. Enormous stained glass windows depict ancient, twisted interpretations of divine judgment—many shattered, their colored shards scattered like broken hope. Once a place of solemn ritual, it now reeks of decay and old magic. The altar, blackened and cracked, still bears the scorch marks of violent sorcery. Echoes cling to the space: chants long silenced, screams swallowed by stone. Here, dark rites were performed beneath the gaze of forgotten gods, culminating in the castle’s most fateful confrontation. The air is thick with the memory of Harkon’s final stand, and the lingering weight of destinies forged in blood. Even now, the silence feels watchful.
