Beneath the main keep lies the Undercroft, a crumbling warren of stone passageways, ossuaries, and forgotten chambers steeped in rot. Once used for storage, burials, and grim rituals, it has long since fallen into disrepair and madness. The air is thick with mildew and the coppery tang of old blood. Hallways twist unnaturally, many partially collapsed or flooded with stagnant water. Cracked sarcophagi line the walls, some shattered open, their occupants now shambling husks. Feral vampires nest in the shadows, their minds broken by isolation and hunger, while skeletal guardians roam mindlessly among piles of rubble and shattered furniture. Roots from the overgrown courtyard above have burst through the ceilings, letting in flickers of pale light that only highlight the ruin. The Undercroft is not merely forgotten—it’s been forsaken.
