Description
A half-day's walk inland lies this rotting farmhouse, choked with thorn-vine and bramble. It was once a thriving barley farm until a series of odd crop blights and livestock deaths led the family to flee. Now, the fields remain strangely fertile despite no tilling, and unnatural prints have been found in the loam—wide, three-toed, and too deep for any local beast. Some whisper the land itself struck a bargain… and now waits for another.
