Description
A shattered bastion of cracked stone and overgrown battlements, Merovec’s Folly was once an ambitious stronghold built by the infamous Baron Merovec in the late Second Era. Its jagged silhouette rises from the misty glens, abandoned after the Baron’s legion vanished without a trace during a midnight sortie against a Direnni enclave. Local whispers speak of spectral horns echoing through the ruins and armor-clad shadows moving beneath the broken towers. Though stripped of valuables long ago, the site holds eerie remnants of siegecraft and a hidden sanctum buried beneath the keep—sealed by runes of Daedric origin.
