backstory
Liara comes from an influential family in Baldur's Gate and gained the title of commander 3 years ago. She has sworn to hold and protect Fort Beluarian with her life. While she sees this assignment as a test of her mettle, some of her subordinates see it as a banishment. Liara has spies in Port Nyanzaru that give her information she can give to the local pirates with the agreement that they will not attack a Flaming Fist ship.
