Description
The Executioner's Run is a 15 feet deep, 50 feet wide, and 200 feet long stone, rectangular pit. The central road of the Old City splits around Executioner's Run. The pit is primarily used as a way to deal with criminals giving it its name. Criminals are released on one end and some dangerous beast like a dinosaur is released on the other. If the criminal can make it to the other end and crawl up a knotted rope, they win their freedom. The brutal event has turned into a sport with betting and the occasional Chultan becoming a local celebrity through their experience. The pit isn't completely safe and the occasional beast can get out.
