Chult

Dungrunglung is a village of grungs, frog-like humanoids, that are led by a gold-skinned grung named King Groak. Groak holds absolute sway over his fellow grung subjects however his madness has led him to become obsessed with summoning the ancient Chultan grung goddess Nangnang and mate with her. A red, female grung named Krr'ook fears the summoning ritual will fail and has concocted a desparate plan to fool the king. At Dungrunglung's center is a large, stone, frog statue in a pond where King Groak lives. Around the pond are the hovels of the other grungs. Protecting the village is a wild ring of thorny bushes arranged in a labyrinthine maze. The maze protects the grungs from the dangers of the surrounding jungles.
