Appearance

Gaster appears as a tall, thin figure cloaked in a black cape that seems to merge with the darkness surrounding him. His visage is often hidden behind a mask that resembles a stylized face with deep empty sockets for eyes and an eternally blank smile. Patches of digital distortion ripple around him, giving the illusion that he is constantly flickering in and out of reality.

Actions

Echo of Gaster

Gaster creates a fleeting duplicate of himself that lasts for 1 minute. The echo acts on his initiative, can attack using Glitching Strike, and has reduced hit points equal to half of Gaster's current hit points.

Glitching Strike

Gaster attacks with a flickering hand, dealing 3d8 psychic damage and causing the target to make a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of their next turn.

Reality Shift

Once per day, Gaster can reshape the battlefield, causing all creatures within a 60-foot radius to make a DC 18 Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, creatures are disoriented and cannot take reactions until the end of their next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes 5d8 psychic damage.
