Medium Fey - CR 5
The King of the Golden Maze, Squidward is a stubborn and malevolent creature who rules over a labyrinthine domain filled with treasures and traps. With his sharp wit and insatiable greed, Squidward delights in watching intruders get lost in his maze, often mocking them as they struggle to find their way out. His demeanor is cynical, and he uses his cunning to manipulate and deceive those foolish enough to wander into his territory.

Appearance

Squidward resembles a tall, gangly humanoid with the features of an octopus. His pale blue skin glistens as if coated in gold leaf, and his numerous tentacle-like appendages spill down from his face, creating an unsettling yet captivating presence. He wears a robe of golden threads, which shifts and shimmers in the light, further emphasizing his regal yet sinister aura.

Actions

Maze of Gold

Squidward conjures illusory walls and pathways, creating a 30-foot radius maze area that confounds intruders. Affected creatures must succeed on a DC 16 Intelligence saving throw or become disoriented, suffering disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks while within the maze until the end of their next turn.

Tentacle Strike

Squidward lashes out with a tentacle, making a melee attack against one target within reach. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 + 4 bludgeoning damage and must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of Squidward's next turn.
