You tear open a singularity of utter darkness, drawing your target into a crushing void that consumes light, air, and sound. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they are pulled into the void, restrained, blinded, deafened, and effectively erased from all perception but yours. While restrained by Ul Shamak, the target takes 4d8 force damage at the start of each of its turns, as the void compresses and crushes them with the weight of collapsed space. At the end of each of its turns, the target may repeat the saving throw. On a success, they are expelled from the void, reappearing prone in the nearest unoccupied space and ending the effect. If the target is reduced to 0 hit points while restrained by the void, they are completely consumed, leaving no corpse. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, increase the damage by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
