Description
You target a creature within range and drain their mana with a burst of necrotic energy. The creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 3d6 necrotic damage, and you regain a spell slot of 1 level lower then this spell (i.e., if cast with 3rd level spell slots you regain 2nd level spell slot). Additionally, the target suffers one level of exhaustion as their mana is siphoned off. On a successful save, the target takes half damage and suffers no exhaustion, and you do not regain any spell slots.
