What was once a single city has now expanded to most of Faerun in this High Fantasy adventure of magic, technology, and secrets to uncover!

Now expanded and reimagined for deeper exploration and immersive play. Waterdeep: The City of Splendors is your main gateway to the other famous Sword Coast locations like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, the Moonsea Region, and even the distant reaches of the Outer Planes. While Waterdeep remains the heart of the experience, its surrounding territories are available for those bold enough to venture beyond the city walls. This adaptation builds upon official Forgotten Realms lore, but introduces both minor and major changes to support a more engaging and open-ended campaign. For example, the characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 are playable, but have been recontextualized to exist in Waterdeep rather than Baldur’s Gate. Content is designed for compatibility with Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and a host of original plot hooks waiting to be uncovered across the city’s alleys, taverns, towers, and catacombs. You’re free to explore at your own pace, shape the world as you see fit, or lose yourself in the layered politics, mysteries, and magic of the world. Description

The Sahuagin Humbled stands as a monumental 90-foot-tall stone colossus, one of the legendary Walking Statues of Waterdeep. This statue, reshaped in the likeness of a sahuagin, kneels reverently at the base of Mount Waterdeep, gazing toward the House of Heroes across the Field of Triumph. Its presence serves as a reminder of the city's resilience, having once defended Waterdeep from a sahuagin invasion. The statue's intricate carvings depict the fierce battle, while its imposing form inspires both awe and respect among citizens and visitors alike. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a serene contrast to the bustling city, inviting contemplation and reflection on the sacrifices made for peace.

Appearance

The Sahuagin Humbled looms over the Field of Triumph, a 90-foot-tall stone colossus in a kneeling pose. Its sharklike head bows low, claws resting on the earth, carved with vivid detail—jagged fins, scaled armor, eyes fixed solemnly toward the House of Heroes. Moss clings to the base where pilgrims leave tokens. Wind stirs the grass at its feet, and the surrounding trees seem to hush, giving the statue a sacred stillness beneath Mount Waterdeep’s shadow.
