T
Tome64

The Forgotten Realms brought to life! Designed for narrative-rich experiences in the Forgotten Realms setting of Faerun's Sword Coast. While the main focus of the world is Waterdeep, locations throughout the Sword Coast and outer planes are available as well! Including Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, The Moonsea, The Outerplanes, and more! What was once a single city has now expanded to most of Faerun in this High Fantasy adventure of magic, technology, and secrets to uncover!

Author's Note: Welcome to The Forgotten Realms Step into one of the most iconic and richly storied worlds in Tabletop, The Forgotten Realms! Now expanded and reimagined for deeper exploration and immersive play. Waterdeep: The City of Splendors is your main gateway to the other famous Sword Coast locations like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, the Moonsea Region, and even the distant reaches of the Outer Planes. While Waterdeep remains the heart of the experience, its surrounding territories are available for those bold enough to venture beyond the city walls. This adaptation builds upon official Forgotten Realms lore, but introduces both minor and major changes to support a more engaging and open-ended campaign. For example, the characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 are playable, but have been recontextualized to exist in Waterdeep rather than Baldur’s Gate. Content is designed for compatibility with Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and a host of original plot hooks waiting to be uncovered across the city’s alleys, taverns, towers, and catacombs. You’re free to explore at your own pace, shape the world as you see fit, or lose yourself in the layered politics, mysteries, and magic of the world. This is not a replacement for a traditional tabletop game—it’s a love letter to it. Dedicated to anyone who struggles to find a group and is itching to play. If you enjoy what’s inside, consider supporting the official Dungeons & Dragons books. They remain an invaluable resource for players and storytellers alike—and they make excellent collectibles. Description

The Lady Dreaming stands as one of the eight colossal Walking Statues of Waterdeep, designed to protect the city in times of dire need. This magnificent statue depicts a noble elven lady, eternally asleep in her lush garden, her flowing hair and garments giving the illusion of movement. During the chaos of the Spellplague, she awakened, causing turmoil as she traversed the city, her presence both awe-inspiring and fearsome. Now, she remains a silent guardian, a reminder of the city's resilience and the beauty of its defenders. Visitors often find themselves captivated by her serene expression, pondering the stories of her past and the power she once wielded.

Appearance

The Lady Dreaming is an immense stone figure of an elegant elven noblewoman, gracefully reclined in eternal sleep amid a sculpted garden. Her long hair and flowing gown cascade across the earth, intricately carved with fine details that mimic silken fabric and delicate vines. Her peaceful expression suggests dreams rather than watchfulness, eyes gently closed, hands resting upon her lap. Moss and ivy trace her limbs, lending a sense of serene age. Though motionless, she exudes quiet strength, an ethereal guardian etched from pale stone, bathed in sunlight or moonlight alike.
