What was once a single city has now expanded to most of Faerun in this High Fantasy adventure of magic, technology, and secrets to uncover!

Now expanded and reimagined for deeper exploration and immersive play. Waterdeep: The City of Splendors is your main gateway to the other famous Sword Coast locations like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, the Moonsea Region, and even the distant reaches of the Outer Planes. While Waterdeep remains the heart of the experience, its surrounding territories are available for those bold enough to venture beyond the city walls. This adaptation builds upon official Forgotten Realms lore, but introduces both minor and major changes to support a more engaging and open-ended campaign. For example, the characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 are playable, but have been recontextualized to exist in Waterdeep rather than Baldur’s Gate. Content is designed for compatibility with Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and a host of original plot hooks waiting to be uncovered across the city’s alleys, taverns, towers, and catacombs. You’re free to explore at your own pace, shape the world as you see fit, or lose yourself in the layered politics, mysteries, and magic of the world. Description

The Bard's Inn is a cozy inn owned by a family of former adventurers, recently renovated to welcome weary travelers. It serves as a popular stop for sailors and has a reputation for discreetly hosting gang meetings to maintain peace in the area. Beneath the inn lies a hidden underground fighting ring, where bets are placed and fortunes can change in an instant. The atmosphere is always lively, filled with the enchanting sounds of soft music, even when no musicians are present. Despite being located in the rough slums of Mistshore, the thugs and gangs know better than to mess with this family of seasoned veterans.

The inn features warm wooden beams, inviting hearths, and walls adorned with memorabilia from the family's adventuring days. The air is rich with the scent of hearty meals and the faint sound of music lingers throughout the establishment.
