What was once a single city has now expanded to most of Faerun in this High Fantasy adventure of magic, technology, and secrets to uncover!

Now expanded and reimagined for deeper exploration and immersive play. Waterdeep: The City of Splendors is your main gateway to the other famous Sword Coast locations like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter, the Moonsea Region, and even the distant reaches of the Outer Planes. While Waterdeep remains the heart of the experience, its surrounding territories are available for those bold enough to venture beyond the city walls. This adaptation builds upon official Forgotten Realms lore, but introduces both minor and major changes to support a more engaging and open-ended campaign. For example, the characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 are playable, but have been recontextualized to exist in Waterdeep rather than Baldur’s Gate. Content is designed for compatibility with Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, and a host of original plot hooks waiting to be uncovered across the city’s alleys, taverns, towers, and catacombs. You’re free to explore at your own pace, shape the world as you see fit, or lose yourself in the layered politics, mysteries, and magic of the world. With a dedicated team of clerks and service-mages, the shop offers a unique shopping experience, though customers must be prepared for a wait of 10 to 30 days for their magical items to arrive. The shop is conveniently located next to the Red Gauntlet tavern, making it a popular stop for adventurers and locals alike. In the mid-14th century DR, Mril Juthbuck served as a counter clerk, while Logros Hlandarr worked as a service-mage, supported by a pair of vigilant guards. From everyday tools to esoteric devices, Aurora's Realms Shop is a treasure trove for those seeking the extraordinary.

Appearance

Aurora’s Realms Shop rises in stacked tiers of polished stone and deep green wood, each floor marked by arched windows glowing with arcane light. A gilded sign shaped like an open book hangs above the entrance, its pages turning with illusory breeze. Shoppers cluster under the awning, peering through display panes showcasing enchanted trinkets. Delivery crates sit stacked beside the door, while robed clerks pass between them, clipboard charms glowing faintly at their sides.
