Description

The Thirteenth, also known as the void. It is one of the sundered reflections of the source. Long ago it's inhabitatants were in an endless war that slowly pushed the reflection to the active element of darkness. The ascian overlord known as Igeyhorm tricked a man known as Durante into traveling to the thirteenth's moon and slaying an individual known as the watcher who kept watch over the fragment of zodiark. This released the fragment of zodiark, resulting in a flood of darkness that consumed the thirteenth. The people were twisted into aether starved creatures known as voidsent, the active nature of darkness making it impossible to die. It is now considered useless for the ascians purposes. Non voidsent who spend time here risk becoming over aspected with darkness and becoming voidsent themselves.

Appearance

The void appears as a broken and ever changing world as per the nature of the active nature of darkness, it is mainly a sea of darkness surrounded by small floating landmasses that are ruined recreations of the lands before the flood. The sky is perpetually dark, devoid of even stars. Illumination is purple hues that is made from the active nature of darkness.
