Hildibrand Helidor Maximilian Manderville, the son of the esteemed goldsmith Godbert Manderville and his wife Julyan, grew up in the opulent surroundings of Ul'dah. Rejecting the family trade, he set out on a whimsical journey across Eorzea as a self-proclaimed 'agent of enquiry, inspector extraordinaire.' Accompanied by his loyal Miqo'te sidekick, Nashu Mhakaracca, Hildibrand's antics often lead to slapstick misadventures, where his noble ideals of justice clash humorously with his complete lack of competence. Despite his buffoonery, he remains dedicated to helping those less fortunate, believing in the pursuit of justice for all.
