After his rebellion was quashed, he was presumed dead but survived in secret, hinting at a vision of a galaxy engulfed in flames. Captured and imprisoned, he entered a deep meditative trance, amplifying his power and resentment towards his captors, fueling a desire for vengeance and a renewed pursuit of his vision upon release. He sits in carbonite as he waits for his release.
