Star Trek Deep Space Nine

Deep Space Nine is a space station near the planet Bajor, built by the imperialistic Cardassians during their long, brutal occupation of Bajor. After liberating themselves through a guerrilla war, the Bajorans invite the United Federation of Planets to jointly administer the station. The station is renamed Deep Space Nine, and a mixed Starfleet and Bajoran crew is assigned to manage it, led by Commander Benjamin Sisko.

Author's Note: I thought I'd put a bit of Star Trek up here. DS9 is a good place to start in the universe, a great hub area to work out of, and some of the best characters in the Star Trek universe. Starts in Quark's Bar with Sisko, Odo, and Major Kira in a heated "discussion" with Quark. Still a work in progress, but the backbone is there. I may be off with details, but precise locations and timelines are flexible in the star trek universe! I've just started watching DS9 again on Netflix, not seen it since the 90s; the visuals are dated, but the characters and plot still hold up. I thought it would make a cool Friends and Fables project! I've tested it and it works ok.
