A modern gothic city where vampires—Kindred—rule the night from the shadows. The Camarilla clings to control in Manhattan while Anarchs rise in Brooklyn. Power is traded through blood, favors, and fear. The Masquerade must be maintained at all costs. Every Kindred walks a knife’s edge between politics, personal horror, and the Beast within.

Aware
Mortals who have glimpsed the hidden truth of vampires, living in the shadows without supernatural powers. They navigate a perilous world armed with knowledge, serving, resisting, or merely surviving amidst the undead, their insight both a curse and a shield.

Innocent
Unaware of the supernatural, Innocents are ordinary humans—bystanders, victims, or potential pawns. They have no powers, but their connections, emotions, and humanity are powerful narrative tools. Some may be loved ones, others future ghouls or Kindred. Their fragility makes them valuable—and dangerously tempting.

Hunter
Mortals awakened to the truth of the undead. Hunters fight back with grit, faith, and desperation. Some are organized, others act alone. Lacking powers, they rely on strategy, allies, and sheer will. Hunted as often as they hunt, they burn bright—and often die young.

Tzimisce
Eldritch and aristocratic, Tzimisce mold flesh and bone like clay. They are scholars, torturers, and monsters obsessed with control and transformation. Their lairs are grotesque masterpieces, and their body-altering powers reflect their warped sense of identity and ownership.

Lasombra
Masters of darkness and dominion, Lasombra control shadows and pull strings behind thrones. They scorn weakness, crush rivals, and lead through fear or charisma. Their reflectionless nature marks them as damned—but their ambition is unmatched.

Setites (The Ministry)
Tempters and cultists, the Ministry (formerly Followers of Set) spread corruption to shatter chains and reveal hidden truths. They use seduction, subversion, and shadowy rites to undermine order. To them, liberation comes through desire, sin, and transformation.

Ravnos
Nomadic and elusive, the Ravnos are tricksters and illusionists who walk the line between chaos and truth. They live outside vampire society, guided by strange morals and ancestral guilt. Their illusions deceive reality—but their clan’s survival hangs by a thread.

Giovanni (Hecata)
Necromancers and ruthless financiers, the Giovanni trade in death, secrets, and souls. Masters of blood and bone, they blend wealth with occult power. Their family loyalty is absolute, their touch ghost-tainted, and their dealings always come at a price.

Banu Haqim
Once feared as vampire assassins, the Banu Haqim now seek justice, balance, and power. Devout, disciplined, and deadly, they combine martial skill with mystical blood sorcery. Their ancient codes and quiet intensity hide centuries of betrayal and ambition.

Gangrel
Primal and fierce, Gangrel embrace their bestial nature and connection to the wild. They are survivalists and loners, often shape-shifting and blending into urban or natural wilderness. Their independence is fierce, their temper volatile, but their loyalty runs deep.

Tremere
Scholars of blood magic, Tremere are secretive and hierarchical. They wield Thaumaturgy to command supernatural forces but risk isolation and paranoia. Their thirst for knowledge is matched only by their ruthless ambition to maintain control over forbidden secrets.

Malkavian
Blessed—or cursed—with insight into madness, Malkavians see the world through fractured eyes. Their truths are cryptic, their madness unpredictable. They offer strange wisdom, chaos, and unsettling prophecies, challenging reality itself while hiding sharp intellect behind apparent insanity.

Nosferatu
Hidden in shadows, Nosferatu bear monstrous curses that hide them from mortal eyes. Masters of stealth, information, and survival, they are outcasts who thrive in the city’s underbelly. Their deformity contrasts their sharp cunning and deep loyalty to their own.

Ventrue
Noble, disciplined, and commanding, Ventrue are natural leaders and power brokers. They value tradition, control, and refinement but can be cold and ruthless. Their discipline grants mastery over minds and protection, guiding their quest for dominance within the Camarilla.

Toreador
The artists and aesthetes of the Kindred, Toreador live for beauty, creativity, and social influence. They captivate with charm and grace but risk obsession and vanity. Their gifts enhance seduction, art, and emotional manipulation, balancing mortal passions with vampiric hunger.

Brujah
Fiery rebels and passionate warriors, Brujah are driven by ideals and rage. They question authority and fight for freedom but can be impulsive and reckless. Their powers focus on physical strength and mental domination. Beneath their fury, many wrestle with frustration over lost causes and shattered dreams.
