Liam Purs grew up in the harsh realities of the post-apocalyptic world as one of the Poor. Witnessing the collapse of society and the constant threat of violence and scarcity, he emerged as a natural leader among his peers. He united a group of survivors from his neighborhood, known as the Shattered Heart, and led them to fortify their area, creating a closed-off sanctuary where they could protect each other and rebuild some semblance of community.
