Veilbound

L
LeopoldDK

In the world of Veilbound, most people live humble, grounded lives—trading in town squares, copying scrolls by candlelight, worshipping half-remembered gods. They whisper of ghosts, demons, and omens, but few believe the tales, and fewer still understand their truth. Beneath this mundane world lies the Veil, a hidden, fragmented layer of reality stitched together from dreams, histories, myths, and forgotten truths. Those who stumble by supernatural—by chance will either awaken or be forgotten.

Author's Note: To evolve in this world, players will have to change thier charecter as they evolve, making them become more a part of the supernatural realm as they experince more, you will start as a common human, with a common class, but as you unlock more for your charecter, you should consider if the story is making the changes to the charecter such as evolve classes or if the race itself becomes more. Common Classes can evolve into supernatural ones through a specific awakening event (e.g., the Puppeteer becomes a Binder after capturing a haunted mask). Some races may not be playable at start, but unlockable through mystical transformation, death, or revelation. The economy, cults, relics, and language of your world should tie these classes and races together—create interconnected systems that reward players for deep engagement. Your Starting Race should be: - Common Human - Fractured Human - Feyblooded Human - Beastkin Human - Scriptborn Human - Ashmarked Human -Chalk-Faced Human Only after you have decided that your charecter have experinced enough of the supernatural world can he/she evolve into another race. For added evolution, you can start as a common humand then decide which of the other base races of humans he/she finds out to belong to before setting out to evolve fully into the supernatural being. The same goes for classes, where you should start out as a more common class before eventually becoming something more. - Scribe - Trader - Vagrant - Acolyte - Guard - Hunter - Tinker - Herbalist - Warder
