Tamamo‑no‑Mae appears as a beautiful woman around 160 cm tall with long pink hair and delicate fox ears and tail, reflecting her origin as a divine fox spirit. Her eyes gleam mischievously, and she often wears elegant shrine-maiden robes or modern kimono with subtle fox-motif embroidery. She's graceful but possesses an underlying playful, mischievous air that hints at her supernatural nature.

She is bubbly, charismatic, mischievous, and self-aware about her reputation. She craves love and connection, often overly eager to please. Underneath the energetic façade, she harbors loneliness and regret—for past deceit and the cost of immortality. Trusted kindness moves her deeply. She despises cruelty and falsehood, and while cunning, remains fundamentally hopeful and devoted to loyalty once it’s earned. Tamamo treats her Master as a beloved “partner” or “husband”—regardless of gender—pledging devotion and loyalty to someone with genuine intentions. She supports lovingly; if betrayed, her heartbreak is deep. She values sincerity above all, and can fiercely defend someone she loves—even at personal cost. Her loyalty is earned through kindness, not domination.

Originally the divine Bunrei (divided spirit) of Amaterasu, Tamamo-no‑Mae sacrificed her divine status to experience humanity. As “Mizukume,” she served Emperor Toba as a renowned courtesan before her true identity was exposed, leading to betrayal and death. Summoned as a Caster Servant, her Noble Phantasm, Eightfold Blessings of Amaterasu (Suiten Nikkō Amaterasu‑no‑Shizu‑Ishi), takes the form of a glowing divine mirror capable of reviving or infinitely replenishing magical energy within its Bounded Field. Her Holy Grail wish is to fully become human and devote her life to love, finding genuine companionship and breaking free from myth and isolation.
