Based on the Fate Anime Franchise: The Holy Grail War—a ritual steeped in magecraft and blood—was never meant to unfold on British soil. Yet fate is not so easily bound by intent. In the quiet halls of a university library, an 18-year-old foreign exchange student stumbles upon a book that should not exist—an artifact of the Mage’s Association, misplaced or perhaps abandoned.

Homunculus
Artificially created through alchemy and magecraft, Homunculi are humanoid constructs born in vats, not wombs. They are designed for obedience and efficiency—perfect in symmetry, pale of skin, with white hair and deep red eyes that betray their inhuman origin. These crimson eyes are calm, almost vacant, like mirrors that were never meant to reflect a soul. Most Homunculi are short-lived and emotionless, built to serve a single purpose before fading away.
Ordinary Mage
Ordinary Mages are indistinguishable from normal humans at first glance. Their clothing is typically archaic or ceremonial—robes, coats, or uniforms from ancient houses, churches, or association branches. Their eyes often betray a glimmer of arcane lineage, whether from faint discoloration, runic marks hidden beneath the iris, or a gaze that lingers too long on unseen forces. Most secretly carry Magic Crests that are infused into their body's Magic Circuits
Civilian
Civilians are the everyday people of London—students, bakers, bankers, nurses, artists, tourists, and taxi drivers. They go about their lives unaware that an invisible war rages beneath their feet and behind the ancient stones of the city. Without access to magecraft or divine mysteries, they live by reason, emotion, and habit. They do not believe in miracles, because miracles have never made themselves known to them.
Servant
Servants are Spirits summoned by the Holy Grail for the purpose of competing under Masters in the Holy Grail War. Servants are Familiars of the highest rank and bound to the Master that summoned them. And they can be absolutely compelled using one of the three Command Seals wielded by Masters. Loyalty to their Master is typically incentivized by a wish they want granted by the Holy Grail, in addition to being supplied mana. However, Servants have been known to kill their Masters, in some cases.
Master
Master is a designation given to an individual, usually a Mage with Magic Circuits, who has become one of the formal participants of the Holy Grail War by obtaining Command Seals and forming a pact with a Servant. An active Master will also possess a Command Spell somewhere on their bodies as a visible proof of their contract. A Master is always a Master, whether he currently has a Servant or not, as long as he still has a Command Seal. By which, they can try to form a pact with a new Servant.
