A hunched Coalbiter claw-priest with soot-black cracked skin, one side of his face covered by a crude dragon scale mask, jittering bright gold eyes, and wearing scavenged, burn-scarred armor. He carries a staff topped with a glowing shard of an explosive relic.

Scrapfang is a cunning and charismatic zealot, using his apparent madness as a weapon to manipulate and inspire his followers. He is driven by a fanatical belief in the return of a mythical dragon and is willing to lead others into deadly situations to fulfill his prophecies. Despite his madness, he is intelligent and strategic, always planning traps and ambushes.

Scrapfang is a Coalbiter claw-priest, bent nearly double under the weight of his scavenged armor. His body is more burn-scar than flesh, with soot-black cracked skin like old charcoal. One side of his face is hidden behind a crude mask hammered from what he claims is a dragon's scale. He believes himself to be the chosen herald of 'The Ember-Returned,' a mythical dragon destined to rise again and reclaim Gru. He carries a staff crowned with the still-glowing heart of a shattered explosive relic, which he uses as both weapon and focus for his manic sermons. His voice is a torrent of broken draconic, half-prophecy and half-mad rambling, punctuated by sudden cackles. Scrapfang uses his feigned madness to lull enemies into underestimating him, then springs deadly traps. His charisma among the Coalbiters is absolute, commanding packs into suicidal charges. One might meet him during a chaotic ambush in a ruined mining tunnel, where his voice echoes promises of the Ember's return.
