A dormant volcano lair of Vytharaxis, the Crimson Sentinel dragon, located in Vael'Roth's volcanic region. The lair features a treacherous approach through scorched ravines and lava-bridges, leading to spiral basalt chambers with molten rivulets and glowing fire runes. The hoard rests above a molten lake in the Chamber of Cinders, guarded fiercely. At the heart lies the Pyrestone, a massive blood-red crystal pulsing with the volcano's heartbeat, believed to hold the secret to restoring magic.
The lair entrance is an arch of obsidian fangs carved from the volcano rim, with stone figures frozen in magma marking the path. Inside, basalt and slag chambers drip molten rivulets, walls etched with glowing fire runes, and a molten lake illuminates the Chamber of Cinders where the hoard lies. The Pyrestone crystal pulses with a deep red glow, casting eerie light on the surroundings.
