Author's Note: Apollo (possible PC) is responsible for a catastrophic failure in safeguarding the material plane, attracting fiends from the lower planes and inviting the blood war into the material plane.

Description
Cania, also known as the Relentless Cold, is the eighth layer of the Nine Hells in D&D 5e. It's a place of unimaginable cold and desolation, a frozen wasteland that makes even the icy depths of Stygia seem like a tropical paradise. Overall, Cania is an unforgiving and desolate realm that reflects the cold and calculating nature of its ruler, Mephistopheles. It's a place where even the most hardened adventurers would face a constant battle for survival.
Appearance
Endless plains of shimmering ice stretching as far as the eye can see under a dark, starless sky, with chilling winds that cut to the bone. Jagged mountains loom in the distance, topped with frost-covered peaks that glint ominously in the pale, cold sunlight.
