Its very essence flows with ley-threads, channels of mana that suffuse mountains, rivers, and cities sculpted from living stone. Here, magic is not a discipline; it is the breath of life. Across ages, civilizations have flourished in harmony with the Ley — until ambition unraveled the weave. Now, Averon exists on the brink, kept whole only by a decaying magical defense: the Veil.

Description

Reveria is a 3000-year-old magical city built to harmonize the Nine Currents of Primordial Mana. It is governed by the Council of Nine Archmagi and features adaptive runes inscribed throughout its streets, bridges, and conduits that respond to ley resonance. The city is divided into three main rings: the Lower Ring (Spiral of Servants) with markets and guilds, the Middle Ring (Mana Circle) housing the Sigil Mages and the Crimson Arena, and the Upper Ring (Court of the Eye) containing the Council chamber and the Silent Library. Arcane infrastructure includes Nexus Gates for ley transport, crystal towers and chant engines for mana flow harmonization, and Ley Surge Beacons for atmospheric sigil stabilization.

Appearance

Reveria is a sprawling city of glowing runes and crystalline structures, with streets that spiral outward in three distinct rings. The Lower Ring bustles with vibrant markets and guild halls, illuminated by sigil-inked lanterns. The Middle Ring is marked by grand arenas and vaults shimmering with magical energy. The Upper Ring is serene and imposing, dominated by the manastone Council chamber and the shadowy Silent Library, all under a sky occasionally flickering with ley surges.
