Averon is a world forged from dichotomies light and shadow, structure and entropy, renewal and decay. Its very essence flows with ley-threads, channels of mana that suffuse mountains, rivers, and cities sculpted from living stone. Here, magic is not a discipline; it is the breath of life. Across ages, civilizations have flourished in harmony with the Ley — until ambition unraveled the weave. Now, Averon exists on the brink, kept whole only by a decaying magical defense: the Veil.

Silver Veil
The serpent cloaks itself in illusionary reflections, granting it advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and causing attacks against it to have disadvantage. Additionally, creatures that fail a DC 18 Intelligence saving throw when targeting the serpent are deceived by layered illusions, causing their attacks to miss.
Song of the Abyss
The serpent sings a haunting melody that forces all creatures within 60 feet to succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or fall into a lucid trance for 1 minute, becoming incapacitated and unaware of their surroundings. Affected creatures can repeat the save at the end of each of their turns.
Tidal Fury
The serpent summons massive waves and a thick mist in a 30-foot radius around it. Creatures in the area must succeed on a DC 19 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone and pushed 20 feet away. The mist heavily obscures the area and warps perception, granting disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks.
