Fallout: Algonquin

hiero

The Algonquian Wasteland in 2297 is a fragmented, harsh, and deeply isolated land. The grand ambitions of previous decades have crumbled, replaced by a desperate struggle for local survival. The shadows of the Old World loom large, not as a source of knowledge, but as a collection of dangerous ruins, misinterpreted legends, and the root of the land's enduring contamination. This is a setting ripe for tales of survival, exploration, and the difficult choices made when the wasteland calls.

Description

The Scarred Heart of the Greater Toronto Area is a sprawling, multi-layered urban ruin, where the remnants of the pre-war city core stand as a jagged skeleton of collapsed skyscrapers and rubble-choked streets. The outskirts are a mix of decaying suburbs, overgrown parks, and industrial wastelands, all under the threat of frequent rad-storms that carry contaminated dust and fallout.

Appearance

The skyline is dominated by crumbling skyscrapers, their glass facades shattered and twisted metal jutting out like broken teeth. Streets are littered with debris, and pockets of eerie green glow hint at dangerous radiation. The shoreline of Lake Ontario, along the southern edge is shrouded in a thick, toxic fog, with the occasional glimpse of mutated marine life lurking beneath the surface.
