Fallout: Algonquin

hiero

The Algonquian Wasteland in 2297 is a fragmented, harsh, and deeply isolated land. The grand ambitions of previous decades have crumbled, replaced by a desperate struggle for local survival. The shadows of the Old World loom large, not as a source of knowledge, but as a collection of dangerous ruins, misinterpreted legends, and the root of the land's enduring contamination. This is a setting ripe for tales of survival, exploration, and the difficult choices made when the wasteland calls.

Description

Barrie is the GBDC's largest military and industrial center on Lake Simcoe, featuring a natural defensible harbor and layered northern and western defenses. The city is a mix of reinforced concrete bunkers, repurposed industrial buildings, and repaired pre-war structures, dominated by the Algonquin Wall fortifications and watchtowers.

Appearance

The cityscape is utilitarian and battle-scarred, with dense clusters of pre-war buildings patched up alongside heavy concrete bunkers. Smoke from numerous smithies and repair shops drifts over the harbor filled with patrol boats, fishing vessels, and cargo barges, under the watchful eyes of the Algonquin Wall's towers.
