Ivory Hellwyrm Class Progression (Lv. 1–20)

Ivory Hellwyrm Class Progression (Lv. 1–20)

Unique Legendary Class — cannot be chosen, only inherited through being the 1-in-trillion Broodspawn child.

Level 1: Wyrmkin Awakening

  • Dragon Form (Ivory Wyrm): Once per long rest, you may assume your dragon form (size Medium). Lasts 1 minute per level.

  • Ivory Scales: Your AC becomes 13 + Con mod if unarmored.

  • Cantrips: You automatically know Hellflame Gaze and Dragon’s Omen Eyes.

Level 2: Predator’s Gaze

  • Mana Sense: You can sense living beings (creatures with mana or blood) within 30 ft, even through walls thinner than 5 ft.

Level 3: Blackfire Hunger

  • Breath Weapon (Hellfire Burst): In dragon form, once per short rest, unleash a 30 ft cone of black fire. Enemies must make Dex save (DC 8 + Prof + Con). Fail = 3d10 fire, Success = half. Fire burns even magical flames.

  • Scaling: +1d10 damage every 2 levels.

Level 4: Ability Score Improvement

Level 5: Wings of the Wyrm

  • In dragon form, you grow six wings (size Large). You gain a 60 ft flying speed.

  • Hellflame Gaze Scaling: Damage now 2d10.

Level 6: Eyes of the Predator

  • Dragon’s Omen Eyes can now detect invisible creatures and reveal mana flow irregularities (curses, enchantments, corruption).

  • Gain advantage on Initiative rolls.

Level 7: Fires of Damnation

  • Passive Aura: While in dragon form, enemies within 10 ft take 1d6 fire damage at the start of their turn.

  • Black flames now burn through resistance (fire resistance is treated as normal damage).

Level 8: Ability Score Improvement

Level 9: Void-Pearl Vision

  • When Dragon’s Omen Eyes is active, you gain advantage on all saving throws vs illusions and charms.

  • Once per rest, you can activate Precognition: See 6 seconds (1 round) into the future, gaining advantage on all attack rolls, saves, and AC until your next turn.

Level 10: Dragon Form — Mature Wyrm

  • Dragon form size increases to Large.

  • Breath Weapon cone extends to 60 ft.

  • Duration of Dragon Form = 10 minutes per level.

Level 11: Hellflame Gaze Mastery

  • Damage now 3d10.

  • Fire erupts at multiple gaze points: you may target 2 creatures per cast.

Level 12: Ability Score Improvement

Level 13: Black Sun Inferno

  • Breath Weapon can now be focused into a single beam (90 ft line, 5 ft wide). Damage = 8d10 fire, Dex save half.

  • Fire ignores fire immunity (creatures immune to fire still take half).

Level 14: Six-Winged Sovereignty

  • In dragon form, your wings radiate fear. Creatures of your choice within 30 ft must succeed a Wisdom save or become frightened for 1 minute.

  • Once a creature saves, it is immune for 24 hours.

Level 15: True Dragon Eyes

  • Dragon’s Omen Eyes grants True Sight (60 ft).

  • Once per long rest, you may declare Perfect Perception: for 1 minute, all attacks you make cannot miss (auto-hit, still roll damage).

Level 16: Ability Score Improvement

Level 17: World-End Blackfire

  • Breath Weapon may now be cast twice per short rest.

  • Enemies reduced to 0 HP by your fire are erased — leaving no corpse, no ash, only scorched shadow. Revivification magic fails on them unless cast by a god or Sovereign dragon.

Level 18: Ivory Apex

  • In humanoid form, you may manifest partial dragon traits (claws, wings, scales) at will.

  • Gain Legendary Resistance (1/day): If you fail a save, you can choose to succeed instead.

Level 19: Ability Score Improvement

Level 20: Sovereign Ascension

  • Your dragon form becomes Huge.

  • Six Wings Eclipse the Sky: Once per long rest, for 1 minute, you may transform into your true Sovereign form:

    • Flight speed 120 ft.

    • Black flames erupt across a 120 ft radius at the start of your turn (10d10 fire, Dex half).

    • Enemies cannot resist or absorb this damage.

    • You gain Legendary Actions (3/turn): Gaze Fire (Hellflame), Wing Buffet, or Tail Strike.

  • Immortality: You cease to age.

Playstyle Identity

  • Early Levels (1–5): A predator-in-training, using Hellflame gaze and eyes to dominate perception-based encounters.

  • Mid Levels (6–12): True dragon identity takes shape; six wings, larger form, battlefield control.

  • High Levels (13–20): A walking apocalypse. Black fire erases armies. Dragon eyes pierce illusions, futures, and lies. Sovereign Ascension turns him into a raid boss.
