LORE BIBLE — 3

THE AGE OF FIRE
Saint Estes & The War of Men**

The Age of Fire is where Nova Prime stops being a world ruled by monsters and becomes a world ruled by mortals.
It is the age when humanity stops reacting to myth—and starts making it.

This is the age of @Saint Estes .
The man who took Krakos’ spark… and turned it into a continent-shaping inferno.

🔥 I. THE AGE BEGINS — A WORLD IN RUIN

When Krakos fell beneath Thaloras, the world did not heal. Dragons still circled the skies. Goblins still swarmed underground. Lycans hunted the forests freely.

But what changed was humanity.

Krakos proved mortals could rise.
Estes proved mortals could lead.

The tribes were fractured, superstitious, and half-starved—but they remembered Krakos’ victories. They remembered the fear in dragon eyes. They remembered the maps of burning forests and frozen valleys.

And into this chaos stepped a man unlike any before him.

🔥 II. SAINT ESTES — THE ASCETIC GENERAL

Saint Estes had no noble birth. No divine parent. No mutation.

He was merely a man—
but a man who perfected himself through discipline so absolute it bordered on divine.

He traveled the shattered world alone, studying:

  • dragon anatomies

  • goblin hives

  • lycan hunting patterns

  • Proven ruins and relics

  • the Limitless Virus left behind

Where Krakos fought with instinct, Estes fought with philosophy.

He returned from exile with:

  • a unified martial doctrine

  • a philosophy of ruthless clarity

  • an army of warriors, mystics, and scholars

  • the first military formations in human history

He became not a warlord, but the first strategist.

And with him rose the first true army.

⚙️ III. THE FORGING OF THE RING

The last living wizards of Nova Prime—renegade descendants of Proven echoes—crafted for Estes a weapon that would change the fate of the world:

@Saint Estes Ring.

It was a weapon of absolute resolve.

It worked only for those completely free of hesitation.
Free of moral restraint.
Free of mercy.

To wield it meant:

  • no forgiveness

  • no compromise

  • no fear

Mercy killed the ring’s power.
Conviction fed it.

The Ring did not inflict wounds.
It stripped immortality from creatures that should not die.

Dragons.

Sovereigns.

Possibly even Proven echoes.

When Estes first struck down a drake and it bled like a mortal beast—
the world changed.

🔥 IV. THE DRAGON WARS

Humanity, for the first time, went on the offensive.

Estes’ armies marched across scorched earth.
Dragons retaliated with storms of flame and claws that split mountains.

The Sovereigns themselves entered the field:

@Veythar, the Ember Crown
Tried to seize the Ring and rule all species.

@Thalyssra
Summoned oceans to drown armies and cities.

@Nyxara, the Void Empress
Whispered corruption into mortal minds, attempting to twist Estes.

@Zeydran , the Storm Tyrant
Challenged Estes in single combat repeatedly, obsessed with victory.

@Korrath, the Stoneheart Immortal , the Stoneheart
Fought as the dragons’ shield, defending their dwindling kind.

For centuries—yes, centuries—their wars reshaped continents.

  • Seas boiled.

  • Mountains shattered.

  • Forests became wasteland.

  • Rivers ran red and gold.

  • Cities rose and died within a generation.

Where dragons walked, humanity suffered.
Where Estes marched, dragons bled.

It was the most catastrophic conflict since the Proven fell.

⚔️ V. THE SAINTS RISE

As Estes’ legend grew, others followed his path—not directly, but spiritually. His discipline, his ascetic drive, his clarity inspired entire generations of:

  • warrior-monks

  • mystics

  • martial artists

  • ritualists

These were proto-orders, precursors to modern saintly traditions.

They bore tattoos of battle, prayer scars, or ritual burns.
They fought not for glory, but to perfect themselves.
Some believed their ascetic devotion might lead them to ascension.

A few were correct.

The modern Proven philosophy began here—
with dust, blood, and ascetic practice.

🕷️ VI. THE FIRST RIVAL PROVEN—MAESTER WISE

While Estes sought perfection through mastery…
another mortal ascended through decay.

@Maester Wise
The Proven of the Swarm.
The Keeper of Crawling Things.

Where Estes led armies, Wise led:

  • vermin

  • weeds

  • rot

  • decay

To peasants, Wise became a nightmare whispered in rhymes:

“Sleep tight,
Don’t let the bed bugs bite.”

Wise was the first sign that Proven ascension had no single path.
That divinity could come from compassion…
or cruelty.

His existence terrified Estes.

VII. THE BETRAYAL — @Cult of the Crimson Scale

Not all humans followed Estes.

Some chose power over solidarity.

In secret, desperate tribes drank spilled dragon ichor.
The ichor mutated them—bones shifting, skin cracking, veins glowing.

They became:

  • The Embered Fathers
    Immortal bishops of the cult.

  • Scaled Priests
Who wielded diluted dragon blood as ritual magic.

  • The Brood
    Vampiric soldiers who stalked humankind.

These cultists became dragonkind’s greatest weapon.
They spread lies and myths about dragons, vampires, and lycans that still affect culture today.

They were the first true vampires.
And they were human traitors.

🗡️ VIII. THE FALL OF SAINT ESTES

In the end, the Sovereigns could not kill Estes.

So they sealed him.

Each lent their power:

  • Veythar forged the cage.

  • Thalyssra drowned its entrance.

  • Zeydran cloaked it in storms.

  • Korrath buried it in stone.

  • Nyxara bound his very soul.

They cast him into the Draconis Expanse, an extradimensional vault beyond mortal reach.

But before the chains closed, Estes hurled his ring back into the world—
trusting someone, someday, would wield it.

🌑 IX. LEGACY OF THE AGE OF FIRE

For Dragons:
Bound to the Expanse. Their presence on Nova Prime became myth.

For Humanity:
The first global army. The first hero. The first organized war.

For the Proven:
Proof that mortals could ascend through discipline, passion, cruelty, or decay.

For the Broodspawn:
A foothold to manipulate mortals for centuries.

For History:
This era ignited the philosophies, religions, artifacts, and bloodlines that shape modern Nova Prime.

For the World:
The stage was set for kingdoms to rise, for underworlds to form, and for the chaos that would eventually lead to the modern superhero era.
