Heaven is not a reward.
It is a location.
A vast, sovereign construct suspended in absolute void, Heaven exists outside conventional space-time yet remains structurally bound to all realities that recognize death. It does not orbit stars, nor does it reside “above” any single universe.
It floats.
Unmoving.
Waiting.
Heaven predates gods, pantheons, and even the concept of worship. It was not built for them—it was occupied by them later.
Heaven manifests as a colossal floating island, its mass comparable to a planetary body. From a distance, it resembles a fractured continent of impossible geometry—mountain ranges carved from luminous stone, seas of condensed light, and vast architectural ruins that were never constructed by mortal hands.
The island does not rotate.
Space rotates around it.
Above and around Heaven drift auxiliary planes—self-contained divine territories belonging to gods above minor classification. These planes move in complex, non-repeating paths, like celestial fragments bound by invisible law.
They are not satellites.
They are permissions.
Each higher god maintains a Personal Plane—a demi-world shaped by their domain, authority, and self-concept.
Characteristics:
Size ranges from city-scale to continent-scale
Rotation paths are determined by divine stability
Planes drift closer or farther from Heaven based on relevance and recognition
When a god falls, their plane fractures or drifts into obscurity
Minor gods do not receive planes.
They operate within Heaven’s margins or through sanctioned domains.
Heaven does not grant these planes.
It tolerates them.
Heaven’s primary landmass is divided into Zones of Function, not morality.
The arrival zone for souls and entities permitted entry. Vast, open, and deliberately impersonal. Judgment does not occur here—sorting does.
Endless plains where souls exist in stabilized states. No suffering, no ecstasy. Just continuity. Most souls remain here indefinitely.
Impossible towers, bridges, and sanctums where gods once convened. Many now stand abandoned, sealed, or partially collapsed.
Regions sealed during the gods’ retreat. Entire populations—souls, Proven, and even deities—were trapped here when Heaven closed itself.
These are what have now been rediscovered.
Unknown. Not mapped. Possibly not meant to be.
Heaven has no ruler.
It has rules.
Authority within Heaven is determined by:
Recognition by Reality
Proven status or divine classification
Alignment with foundational constants
Heaven acknowledges gods.
It does not answer to them.
Even the King of the Gods is a tenant, not an owner.
All binding systems within Heaven—doors, seals, ascensions, Saint Titles—are governed by a pre-reality script.
This language:
Predates gods and worship
Cannot be spoken, only executed
Recognizes constants, not identities
Is the same system that governs Saint Titles
Names written in this script do not represent beings.
They represent functions reality cannot afford to lose.
Heaven is not death.
It is post-death continuity.
Souls are stabilized here to prevent reality-wide entropy. Without Heaven, death would bleed unpredictably into existence, destabilizing timelines and causality.
When Heaven closed:
Souls accumulated outside reality
Gods lost authority over the afterlife
Proven ascensions became unstable
Its reopening has restored flow, not mercy.
When gods realized Heaven was not theirs to command, many chose annihilation over partial existence.
They destroyed themselves rather than:
Accept limitation
Become custodians instead of rulers
Share authority with mortals and Proven
Their absence left Heaven hollow.
Functional.
Empty.
Heaven is now open—but altered.
Long-trapped entities stir
Forgotten Proven awaken
Dead gods’ planes drift closer, unstable
Authority is being renegotiated in real time
Heaven is not hostile.
But it is no longer passive.
It is watching who steps forward to manage what the gods abandoned.
Heaven was never paradise.
It was infrastructure.
The gods mistook residence for ownership.
They were wrong.
Now new constants walk its surface—
not as inheritors of thrones,
but as the ones willing to keep the system running.
And Heaven, for the first time in ages,
is paying attention.
