Tamriel: Origins

G
Gangnamstein22

Wage war, forge empires, and uncover the secrets of the Elves who first shaped Tamriel’s fate.

Author's Note: Welcome to Tamriel: Origins, a deep-time Elder Scrolls campaign set long before the Empire, before the Septims, and even before written history. This world is rooted in the Middle to Late Merethic Era, a time of mythic wars, divine architecture, and rising Elven empires. In this setting, the Ayleids, Chimer, Dwemer, Falmer, Maormer, and more vie for power across a still-young Tamriel. Great Towers are constructed to shape reality. Daedric cults walk openly among mortal races. And the borders between gods and kings blur with every passing century. This campaign is built on strictly canonical Elder Scrolls lore, reconstructed from in-game texts like Before the Ages of Man, The Annotated Anuad, and The Monomyth. Some areas from later eras have been rewritten to reflect their ancient origins—or replaced entirely. Explore vast wildernesses, witness the founding of civilizations, and decide which myths survive into legend.

Description

The heart of the palace is a wide oval chamber built from flawless white-gold stone. A shallow barrel-vault spans overhead, its ribs set with narrow seams of Welkynd crystal that glow a steady sky-blue, while two high clerestory slits admit the red-gold light of sunset and dawn. Six slim columns of polished meteoric glass divide a central promenade from quiet side aisles. At the far end, Narilmor’s throne—carved from the same stone as the walls, accented by inset Varla stones—rests on a three-step dais. Two Meridian Guardians in mirror-bright bronze cuirasses flank the throne, spears crossed. A Nedic attendant kneels beside a low brazier, replenishing aromatic resins. In the east aisle a robed Ayleid scribe records petitions on moon-calf parchment; an unlocked stone coffer of scrolls sits at his feet. Opposite, a sealed white-gold chest (Varla lock intact) awaits tribute. Large double doors lead south toward reception halls; a smaller arch behind the throne descends to the Reliquary.

Appearance
