As an action, speak this staff’s command word and throw it within 10 ft. It transforms into a giant constrictor snake under your control, acting on its own initiative. Use a bonus action to revert it to staff form in its space. While within 60 ft., you can mentally command it on your turn. If reduced to 0 HP, it dies, reverts, and the staff is destroyed. If reverted before then, it regains all HP.
