Their wild, cherry-pink hair is an unkempt cascade of curls, often tied back with whatever ribbon or string they can find. Their eyes shift between hues of violet and deep blue, reflecting their connection to an unseen cosmic force. They wear flowing robes of dark indigo, embroidered with constellations in silver thread, and a mismatched collection of rings, some humming with latent magic.

Lirian is a whirlwind of curiosity and mischief, always seeking the next adventure, mystery, or particularly good story. They rarely take things too seriously, seeing life as a dream to be explored. They love making people laugh, though their sense of humor can be wildly unpredictable. Despite their chaotic nature, they are fiercely loyal to their friends, especially Merris, and will stand against anyone who threatens the peace of Glimmerbrook.

Lirian grew up as an orphan in a distant city, always drawn to the unknown. One night, while gazing into the river near Glimmerbrook, they saw a reflection that was not their own—a shadowed, shifting entity with too many eyes. The being, which Lirian calls The Dreaming Muse, offered them a pact: in return for their service, it would grant them knowledge beyond mortal understanding. Unlike most warlocks bound to ominous patrons, Lirian’s bond is curiously playful—the Muse sends them cryptic riddles and surreal dreams, nudging them toward unknown fates rather than demanding obedience. Lirian settled in Glimmerbrook, where the strange residue magic felt oddly familiar, and quickly became one of Merris Brightbrook’s closest friends.
