Description

The Vault of the Unbound is a heavily warded chamber high in the Arcane Spire, where Levithal’s most dangerous and forbidden magical artifacts are kept under lock and spell. The entrance is a towering circular door of dark adamantine, inlaid with shifting arcane runes that form an ever-changing pattern. Only the council members and their most trusted aides know the sequence to unlock it, and even then, access requires multiple levels of verification—both magical and mundane. Patrolling the Vault are spectral sentinels and golems of living crystal, designed to detect and neutralize any unauthorized presence. A scrying orb in the center monitors the entire space, relaying visions directly to the council chambers for constant oversight. The Vault houses items of immense power, such as cursed relics, unstable magical prototypes, and even fragments of ancient spells too dangerous to be unleashed. Appearance

The entrance is a towering circular door of dark adamantine, inlaid with shifting arcane runes that form an ever-changing pattern. Inside, the Vault’s interior is stark and chillingly silent. Floating platforms glide between towering shelves and containment fields, each artifact secured within glowing energy prisms or inscribed obsidian cases. The air hums faintly with suppressed magical power, and the walls are reinforced with layers of protective wards that shift and adapt to counter potential breaches.
