At the heart of Glimmerbrook stands the Hollow Hearth, a sprawling, open-walled communal hall built from smooth, river-polished stone and enchanted oak beams. Its defining feature is the Everfire, a great, golden-hued flame that dances endlessly in a massive stone hearth, radiating warmth and comfort without ever consuming wood or growing too hot. The flame’s color subtly shifts depending on the emotions of those nearby—flickering pink in joy, blue in sorrow, and silver in deep contemplation. The Hearth serves as the village’s central gathering place, where farmers, artisans, and travelers come together to share meals, stories, and music. During harvest festivals, floating lanterns enchanted with soft illumination drift lazily along the ceiling, casting a dreamlike glow over the feasting tables. Even in the quietest hours, there is always someone resting near the fire, drawn by its reassuring presence.
