Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Gotham City Police Commissioner James Gordon, was inspired by her father's dedication to justice and Batman's fight against crime. After facing immense challenges, including being paralyzed by the Joker, she reinvented herself as Oracle, a tech genius and strategist. Now, as a more mature Batgirl, she continues her mission to safeguard Gotham and inspire hope. She is a key ally and typically fills a team support role to the heroes of Gotham.
