Author's Note: WIP. This is my first attempt at a world so it might not be that good but I'm curious what people think of it so far. I want to create a campaign close to the quest the Fellowship embark upon in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I eventually want you to be able to choose a character from the members of the fellowship and destroy the Ring by throwing it in mount doom.

Théoden is brave, noble, and fiercely protective of his people. He is a natural leader who inspires loyalty and courage in those around him, though he has also experienced moments of doubt and despair.
backstory
Théoden is the King of Rohan, a great warrior and leader, descended from the royal house of the Edain. In his youth, Théoden was known for his valor and leadership. However, under the influence of Saruman's magic, he is gradually manipulated into a state of weakness and indecision by his advisor Gríma Wormtongue. This corruption causes him to fall into despair and allowed Saruman to gain influence over Rohan, leaving Théoden unable to effectively rule.
